Cartouche is the first superyacht to be launched after a record construction time of 14 months. Considered as the world’s largest vessel to be equipped with a furling boom, Cartouche is realised as a rotary wing mast and made with carbon fibre. It includes a simple and efficient sailing plan consisting of a self-tacking Solent, a Gennaker and a powerful mainsail of 234 square metres from North Sails.
Cartouche is a unique vessel, featuring a three-deck sloop design and measures 28.9m in length and 12m in breadth. The sleek contemporary lines are accentuated by the anthracite metallic gray hull. The yacht features a lacquered interior in gray tones with accentuated black and white tones.
Cartouche is designed as simple and efficient, and features twin long, narrow hulls, offering maximum stability in adverse sea conditions and enhanced manoeuvrability for a comprehensive hydraulic system.
Construction of the Cartouche started in August 2009.
