Aldo Coppola wanted a dynamic interior with defining pieces to act as sculptural focal pints for his first salon in the UK. The first point of contact when entering the space, the reception, has been designed to offer a strong visual impact leaving a lasting impression. Brodie Neill has used black satin-finished Corian for its sculptural flexibility and hardwearing solid surface characteristics. The undulating form is contoured in a multi-layered effect that accentuates the long sweeping curves of the overall form.

An elongated table is featured in the Aldo Coppola Salon as a centerpiece that divides the interior. It provides multifunctional space for the salon’s diverse needs. The table merges Indus Red Zodiaq, a sold quartz material, with a mirror-polished stainless steel base. The chemical resistant Zodiaq countertop is suitable for the range of applications used in the hair and beauty industry.

Corian is an original composite solid surface material distributed and sold by American chemical company DuPont. It can be used in a wide range of both residential and commercial environments and can be thermoformed into any shape. Dupont Zodiaq is a decorative surfacing material that combines the strength and beauty of pure natural quartz with high quality resin. It is available in a palette of 30 creative colors.

Coppola worked with French furniture designer Philippe Stark for his Italian Salons. London-based Brodie Neill has won various international design awards and is known for his unique fusion of technology, materiality and progressive aesthetic.
