The outdated interiors of the Ohio store have been revitalized with the design makeover. The renovated store epitomizes the new 20/20 restaurant design with a contemporary industrial palette of metallic and black accents, complemented by brick and concrete finishes.
The shop features a contemporary theme at both the external and internal levels, balanced by various elements evoking an industrial look. The interior of the restaurant features corrugated metal, exposed brick, hardwood-like floors, modern hanging lamps, a large flat-screen television and earthy colors, such as deep red and beige.
Menus are modernized into liquid crystal display (LCD) screens, and Burger King’s iconic logos and slogans, including ‘Have It Your Way’, are visible throughout the store by way of graphics and signage. A rotating flame-shaped chandelier is placed in the dining room to act as the focal point.
Seating options include bar seating with a television view, bar seating with a window view, booths, and two- and four-person tables with chairs. The exterior of the restaurant features elements similar to those found inside. At the drive-thru, a covered order point creates a sheltered and branded experience with the convenience of digital order confirmation.
To date, more than 60 BKC restaurants have adopted the 20/20 design in cities such as Miami, Mexico City, Edinburgh and Shanghai. More than 75 additional restaurants with the 20/20 design are scheduled to be completed by the end of 2010 in cities such as Vancouver, Rome, London and other places.
