The mall will undergo several upgrades to house the restaurant such as phasing out 87 parking areas, shifting of some parking spaces for the disabled, relocation of a segment of Inner Ring Road, and incorporation of new pedestrian crosswalks and landscaping.
The Cheesecake Factory will cover an area of 8916 square feet and will possess a seat capacity of 299. The facility will also comprise a bar as well as bakery. A total of 64 seats of the restaurant will be placed in an outdoor patio space. Evergreens measuring six to seven feet in height will screen the patio section.
The floors of the restaurant will be made of granite and limestone. The look of the new restaurant will be complemented by installation of custom-made woodwork, lighting systems and a host of other design elements. The new structure will also sport various green features such as insulated glass and white roof. Plans are further on to utilise solar power to meet water heating needs.
The construction of the facility will form part of a major expansion of the mall which also includes creation of other stores, restaurants and parking garages. The mall will also undergo an overhaul and will be fitted with new ceilings, handrails, floor coverings, entryways and graphics while employing various energy-saving measures. Work on the new restaurant is slated to commence by January 2012 and be completed by October 2012.
