Alexis Bittar’s new store spans 450 square feet, featuring a noticeable taxidermy display of a leopard tracking a white ibis. These displays are signature to Alexis Bittar’s boutiques.
Besides creating a one-of-a-kind focal point for the store, the display subtly highlights the vintage chic style of ‘North by Northwest’ – an American classic suspense film directed by Alfred Hitchcock in 1959, which is the favorite of Bitter.
Other design details of the store include delicate cherry blossoms on ash-gray hand-painted silk walls, antique mirrors, and upholstered silk interiors in tufted cream. The unique pieces on display and the walls of the boutique are framed with white raised paneling.
