Witley Vases

Prestige Animal Sculptures

Chamberlain & Co’s collection of prestige animal sculptures include a variety of subjects, from majestic birds of prey to African wildlife and champion race horses. They are among the finest examples of ceramic sculptural art available anywhere in the world. It takes exceptional skill and craftsmanship to create these large studies in the delicate and demanding medium of fine bone china. Only the most experienced craftspeople are able to retain the level of detail and modelling precision that enables a bird of prey to spread its wings or a big cat to race across the Serengeti Plain with an appearance so lifelike you will believe they move.

Abberley Comport

The inspiration for the Chamberlain & Co collection of Abberley Comports comes straight from museum archives. A comport was popular in the late 18th century, it’s said to be a large dish which would hold fruit and candy – with a large shallow top would be supported by a heavy stem or foot.

Broadway Vase

Elegant aptly describes the Chamberlain & Co Broadway vase, with a height of over 60cm, it creates an impression too. Part of the exquisite new collection from ceramic specialists Chamberlain & Co, this vase shape is one of the most elegant vase shapes ever produced in Worcestershire, its beautiful lines are further enhanced by the beautiful ceramic art decoration.

Birlingham Box

Looking at a pieces as exquisite as Chamberlain & Co's Birlingham Box it can be difficult to conceive how it was made. The shapely silhouette, the perfectly fitted lid, the ornate detailing, even the flawless paintwork are all so impeccably integrated that one might easily imagine that it had just been formed whole. That, however, would be underselling the expertise, dedication and love that go into each and every one of Chamberlain & Co.’s handmade ceramics.

Imperial Imari

Imari ware, best known for its rich palette of red, blue and gold, typifies the style created by the Japanese potters of the early 1600s. The elegant shapes and gorgeous colour schemes make it instantly recognisable for ceramics enthusiasts. Both of these characteristics feature strongly in Chamberlain’s most recent collection.
