Products are sold primarily through leading industry wholesalers and architectural ironmongers to whom Strand offers first class customer service and technical support from experienced industry professionals. Based at Strand House, a modern building close to Walsall town centre, Strand has over 8000 square feet of warehousing. The office accommodation includes a showroom where most of the company's products are on display. All products are distributed through architectural ironmongers, builder's merchants and specialist distributors to the window and door industry.

The FP200 & FP400 from Strand Hardware Ltd have been tested at EXOVA to BS8613:2017 Finger Protection for Pedestrian Doors

This standard gives a benchmark for professional bodies to refer to and assists manufacturers in designing acknowledged fit-for-purpose products to aid in the prevention of serious injusy to little and big fingers alike. It aims to reduce the risk of inadvertent injury to fingers by ensuring that Finger Protection devices are rigorously tested.

The DUOFLEX the first of Strand Hardware's new range of D:Fine products is a folding opener that is contemporary in design. DUOFLEX can be finished in many different colours and plated finishes to suit all interior schemes.

Enhanced Range of Finger Protection Devices

Strand Hardware has a vast range of finger protection devices covering three standards – BS8613:2017 finger protection for pedestrian doors – EN16005 :2012 power operated pedestrian doorsets and EN16654: 2015 child protection products. The comprehensive range of finger protectors consist of:

Strand Antipanic Emergency Exit and Panic Hardware

Strand Antipanic Hardware comprises of a range of bolts and latches for escape doors that are also known as panic hardware, panic devices, crash bars or panic bars.

Strand Antipanic Motorised Touch Bar

With a similar in design to the standard touch bar, the motorised version comprises of modular components – full width motorised touch bar mechanism. This can be added with either horizontal / side entry Pullmans to give two, three point latches or vertical Pullmans to give two, three point bolts.

Strand ATHMER Automatic Door Seals

Athmer is a high quality range of automatic door seals for draughts, fire, smoke and light and noise reduction, the seals are neatly concealed in the bottom of the door and raise or lower as and when the door opens or closes which prevents unnecessary wear from the seal dragging along the floor.

Strand Finger Protection Devices

The FP200 and FP400 protection devices prevent fingers being trapped between the door and frame on the hinge side, the unique roller system is stretched over the gap when the door opens and retracts.

Strand Window Control Systems

Strand Window Control Systems is a broad range of manual and electrically operated systems to provide natural ventilation or automated smoke control to a wide range of window styles in timber, steel, aluminium or PVCu. Strand window control systems are beneficial for hard to reach windows, they are very easy to operate manually by simply winding a handle or electronically by a push of a button.

Strandflex Folding Openers

Strandflex folding openers are designed for use on smaller sized sashes where one opener is required for hand operation.

Lokkit Stays and Lokkit Kits

Lokkit stays are designed for use on small top hung opening out timber sashes available with recessed or flush fixing brackets. Available with 125mm or 175mm throw to hold the sash in open position.

Uniplex, Duplex & Triplex openers

Uniplex (single opener) Duplex (double opener) and Triplex (triple opener) are designed for top hung opening out or horizontally pivoted windows to suit 150mm, 230mm and 300mm throws.

Door Holders

Foot Operated Small and large door holders are available for PVC-U, timber and aluminium doors.

D-Fine Panic Exit Device Range

The D-Fine range of panic exit devices are constructed entirely out of 316 stainless steel, including all internal and external components.This guarantees maximum functionality and a long lifetime even under the most extreme weather and atmospheric conditions.

Glass Central

The Glass Central product range includes patch fittings, door handles and knobs, locks and latches, door rails, partitioning systems, sliding door gear, shower fittings, magtec sliding door systems, spider fixings, standoffs and hydraulic self- closing hinges.

Electric Strikes

Electric Strikes for Rim-Type Panic Exit Devices are suitable for use with single point Push bar, Push Pad and Touch bar devices.

316 Stainless Steel Panic Hardware

The D-FINE range of panic exit devices are constructed entirely out of 316 stainless steel, including all internal and external components. This guarantees maximum functionality and a long lifetime even under the most extreme weather and atmospheric conditions. These devices are salt spray tested to 800 hours.
