Work involved refurbishment of its lobby, guest rooms as well as meeting area.
The revamped lobby features separate welcome pedestals in place of the former traditional front desk. The pedestals allow for more intimate communications with the guests. The lobby, sporting shades of blue, green, orange, and red, now comprises a variety of seating arrangements such as a communal table in the centre portion and more private media booths equipped with high-definition TVs along with a semi-enclosed lounge space.
The lobby has also installed the GoBoard application, which is a 52′ LCD touch screen imparting knowledge on local information, maps, weather, and news, business and sports headlines, post upgrade work. The complete first floor of the building with the lobby and meeting rooms now offer wired and wireless Internet service. Further, the lobby comprises Bistro- Eat. Drink. Connect – a new concept eatery with casual, flexible seating.
The facility has also carried out a facelift of its meeting rooms. The improved meeting rooms are fitted with new carpets, vinyl, lighting systems as well as woodwork. In addition, the building is equipped with a new fitness centre and is adorned with new outdoor furniture for guests.
