The smokers lounge, courtesy of cigarette brand Winston, is a room with high-quality design. It measures about 50 square meters, is surrounded by windows and offers a view of the apron.
The lounge is located in the security area of pier C behind the restaurant Caravelle. Its modern design is accentuated by contemporary lounge furniture and bar-boards. A uniquely designed ventilation system offers fresh air to the lounge continuously and it also prevents the smoke from ventilating into the airport area.
The lounge is run by Japan Tobacco International (JTI), an operating division of Japan Tobacco Inc., handling the international production, marketing and sales of the group’s cigarette brands. JTI is the world leader in implementing innovative airport smoking facilities and operates 37 lounges, 134 smoking cabins and 59 smoking stations around the world.
Düsseldorf International Airport in Düsseldorf is the third largest airport in Germany.
