The LFMP has been launched to renovate and expand Dallas Love Field Airport, making it a cohesive and modern facility. The LFMP renovations include a new centralized concourse with 20 gates, a remodeled lobby, expanded baggage claim area and a new ticketing wing.

DAL Partners will provide all services necessary to lead and execute the design effort for tenant lease spaces for Southwest Airlines, American Airlines, Continental Airlines, the Transportation Security Administration and the City of Dallas Department of Aviation. Tenant lease spaces will be designed to make it a modern facility that will serve the needs of Dallas citizens and travelers and will address the overall LFMP goal of becoming LEED-certified.

The new Dallas Love Field Airport will increase efficiency for travelers while maintaining the convenience that Love Field currently offers passengers. In the new design, the terminal will decrease 25% in size approximately by replacing a large amount of unused and outdated space with modern and efficient facilities. The three original concourses will be demolished and consolidated into one convenient, centrally located concourse for all airlines. In addition to the new concourse, the check-in and baggage claim areas will be redesigned. The main lobby space will be renovated but will retain the overall structure and volume of the original design. This portion of the facility is the symbolic heart of the terminal complex and a vital part of the passenger processing operation. In addition, the LFMP will more than double the amount of available airport concessions.

GS&P and IEG Consulting Engineers have worked together on various projects which were focused on terminal and build-out services. Throughout this contract, the DAL Partners joint venture will work closely with LFMP Design Coordinator Corgan Associates during each phase of design and construction. DFW Fire Protection, Inc. will provide fire protection engineering services related to tenant lease spaces.
