Poppi chair, designed by David Fox for Tonon italia, was first launched at the 2010 Orgatec Trade Show in Cologne, Germany. It is a comfortable lounge chair made of steel PU foam and fabbric.
The emphasis was given to keep the upholstery slim-line as possible, besides retaining the delicately engineered encapsulating shape. Inspired by the opening of a flower as it blossoms into life, the product is designed as a statement piece for any domestic or corporate interior space.
UK-based Boss Design has collaborated with David Fox to create the Kruz chair. It features smooth flowing forms to complement a wide range of environments. Kruze is available as a chair with four legs or with a recycled aluminium 4-star base.
It is also available as a four-legged bar stool which can be specified with or without a back. Kruze can be fully upholstered in fabric or leather. Alternatively, it can be configured with an upholstered seat and a show-wood back in beech, walnut, wenge, alpi, oak or cherry.
The 2011 Salone Internazionale del Mobile will be held in Milan from 12-17 April.
