The new ‘Evolution’ store is integrated with state-of-the-art design to improve energy savings, water efficiency, CO2 emissions, indoor air quality and recycling processes. The store is designed to meet the United States Green Building Council’s (USGBC) criteria for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) – Silver certification.
The storefront has been rebuilt to specifically meet wind deflection, R-value insulating and UV reflection specifications, given Warwick’s climate and proximity to weather generated by the Atlantic Ocean. The technical assistance and customer support areas are designed to be spacious, airy and are easy-to-locate. A check-in kiosk invites customers to sign in on arrival and stay informed via monitors that track their place in the queue for service. The new 4,000 square feet ‘Evolution’ store provides local residents and visitors, a convenient destination for all Verizon Wireless devices, accessories and support.
Verizon Wireless’ previous store in Warwick Commons suffered extensive damage during the floods in late March 2010. The company temporarily relocated its operations inside a brick-and-mortar location on the premises, and plans developed immediately to rebuild a new permanent state-of-the-art location at its previous site in just five months.
The Warwick Commons store features interactive product and service demos and integrated systems and operational enhancements designed to streamline the sales process and increase customer satisfaction.
