The first yacht in the ‘3 TIMES A LADY’ series is christened ‘The Diana 150’ – pronounced as ‘Dee-one-fifty’. This new 45m yacht with aluminum superstructure and steel hull is designed to accommodate 12 guests including the owners, and nine crew members.
The 500GT super yacht’s layout on the lower deck features two double and two twin suites. Each guest suite is equipped with a luxury en-suite bathroom with shower, toilet, bidet and double hand basin. All guest cabins have similar layout, but are designed around different themes offering unique identity to each room. The crew members have a comfortable living area with four double cabins, a spacious crew mess and laundry.
The engine room is designed to house twin engines ensuring a comfortable cruising speed of 12 knots, with low sound levels being achieved throughout the vessel. In the lazarette, there is place for an 18ft tender and two wave runners. They can be launched through a side door. The Diana 150’ also has a hydraulically operated passerelle, designed for stern-to docking, which folds compactly into a box in the lazarette when not in use. The large swim platform makes it easy to board from a tender and can also be used as a watersport and beach area.
The aft deck is conceived as an extension of the large swim platform. Sufficient space is set apart for relaxation after a swim. The design offers the feeling of a light and open space due to the side openings in the dining wall, which separates the salon from the dining room. Warm off-white and mahogany wood gives the room an airy and intimate feel.
By closing the sliding doors, a formal dining area can easily be created. Moving forward through the lobby, open stairs will greet the guests. On the PS, a large galley and pantry is featured to give the cook freedom to do his job in perfection. The owner’s VIP suite is located forward of the lobby. This suite is spacious and finished in light colours. A comfortable his and hers bathroom with bath, steam shower and double hand-basin completes this area.
The captain’s en-suite cabin is situated just aft of the wheelhouse one deck up on the bridge deck. A big sky lounge is featured aft of the pantry area. Other amenities in the yacht include a gym and a cinema, which can be transformed into a spacious lounge area. Four large sliding doors are integrated to give an inside-out feeling or simply give access to the bridge deck aft, where a round table for all fresco diners and corner seats are featured.
Barbecues are featured on the sundeck, followed by coffee and dessert on the same deck. The Jacuzzi on the sun deck is situated aft of the deck. A bar, an adjacent sun pad and the wide panoramic views combine to make yacht a pleasant outdoor living space.
