The series named ‘Successful Living’, a part of Diesel Home Collection, was already launched in Milan in 2009. New additions to this designer collection include wall, pendant and floor lights in three designs.
The Perf lampshade features a number of perforations on its surface. The design offers an airy feel with illuminated holes that forms a pixilated pattern, which is irregular in shape. The inspiration for this design has been derived from the traditional North African perforated lamps. The hinging joint of the diffuser’s main body regulates the light, which in turn creates a number of patterns.
The lamp is entirely made up of metal, but is lightweight and easily movable. The lamp is available in various finishes including aluminum chrome, black, green and rust brown. The Perf designer lamp is available as a wall, floor or table lamp with adjustable diffuser.
The next in the series is the Pet table lamp, which is dark in its design. The base of the Pet lamp extends into four feet, with the lamp featuring angular lines that define its arching metal stem. The lamp also includes four paw-like structures that are attached to the individual feet-shaped bases, designed out of striped rubber. The design resembles Gothic style. The lamp is available in matte and polished surfaces and in contrasting colors of neon blue and fuchsia.
The Tool lamp’s design features Diesel’s recurring themes of work wear, reinventing the ambiance of garages and workshops. The inspiration for this design has also been taken from industrial archaeology. The range is a transformation of the solid shapes into hollow illuminated forms. The Tool features a rubber shade that has been designed in the shape of a foundry mold.
The Tool series includes suspended floor and table lamps, which are available in black color. The suspended lamps of this series are available in small and large sizes. The smaller lamps are for reading and can serve as table lights featuring black metal stem and a rough cement base.
