These innovative micro hotel concepts are especially designed for areas with large concentration of people like airports, sea ports, events, vacation and holiday resorts where mobility is necessary.
The bubbles are designed as small luxury rooms and are available in three dimensions. The ‘Simple Bubble’ is five square metres and has no bathroom, ‘Single Bubble’ is seven square metres with an en-suite, while ‘Family Bubble’ is ten square metres and includes a cot.
Simple Bubble consists of a space without a bathroom. This type of modular bubble works in a completely autonomous way from the structure of a micro hotel. It can be installed in any place where a hotel room cannot be built.
In Single Bubble, the passenger can sleep for a few hours in a comfortable bed which can be either single or double, work on a foldable table with access to the Internet, or consult the boarding details of their flight on an LCD monitor on the wall and rest all of their newspapers on a shelf next to the bed. The bed is totally equipped with stations for mobile phones and mp3 players, with ambient sound and electric sockets. The bathrooms are fitted with a sink, toilet and modern shower. All the sanitaryware are stainless steel, reminiscent of the interior of a plane.
The Family Bubble is designed to take care of the whole family. It consists of a space with a sofa that transforms into a bed for a body and a half, a cradle or nappy-changing facility for babies, and other comforts which demand more space.
Inspired by the nature of a womb, this space aims to convey a feeling of protection in contrast to the movement and agitation of the outside world.
