Liberty Bank chose Corian, a solid surface material distributed and sold by American chemical company DuPont, for its aesthetical and functional attributes.

The bank’s renovation project was spearheaded by Dmark architectural studio. Architects have redesigned the space offering a symbolic metaphor for the bank’s ongoing rapid transformation. The interior is characterised by dramatic and bold elements. Dynamic shapes and the vivid red and white colours of DuPont Corian high-tech surfaces present an appealing, eye-catching vibrancy to the design.

Formability, a seamless look and aesthetic beauty combined with strength, scratch resistance and ease of maintenance, made the selection of DuPont Corian techno-surface an easy choice for Dmark architects who used it as the central material for their overall design.

The bank’s greeting area, which is open to retail, corporate and private banking clients, is dominated by the sculptural and monolithic reception desk. The seven teller areas also showcase DuPont Corian in the countertops, cladding and privacy panels. Desks for retail lending officers and corporate and private bankers are also made with the vibrant Corian material.

Liberty Bank is the sixth largest bank in Georgia. It has the largest branch network in the country, comprising 179 branches. The bank serves approximately 1.2 million individuals and over 20,000 legal entities.

Corian is used in a wide range of applications in segments as varied as hospitality, healthcare, catering, publics spaces and retail, as well as in home furnishing, furniture, lighting and decorative objects. It is a non-porous solid surface material that is stain-resistant, easy to clean, durable, renewable and repairable. Available in about 100 standard colours, DuPont Corian solid surfaces can be shaped into virtually any conceivable design.
