Bringing the harmony of the natural world into interior spaces, Artoleum® has three distinct design ranges. Using natural pigments to create colourful and striking designs, Forbo mixes practicality with creativity to ensure that Artoleum® is visually aesthetic.

Artoleum® prisma is inspired by the prism’s captivating ability to separate light and is designed around two shimmering families of patterns.

Drawing on the richness of natural stone, Artoleum® mineral creates floors with a real outdoor feel. With a wide spectrum of stony shades and hues, Artoleum® mineral has the look of stone flooring without the cold surface.

Artoleum® graphic has a classic allure and combines traditional blacks, whites and greys. Conceived from the artistic traditions of Rembrandt etchings and Escher lithographs, this is a sleek and fashionably retro floorcovering.

Part of Forbo’s linoleum portfolio, Artoleum® is made from all natural and renewable raw materials and is an inspiring and relevant choice for high design interiors with the need for a high performing and practical flooring solution.

In a state-of-the-art production process, Artoleum® is made from ingredients such as linseed oil, rosin, limestone, wood flour and jute. These natural materials create an organic and sustainable floorcovering that is fully biodegradeable.

Artoleum® is suitable for both working and living environments and represents a major advance in Forbo’s quest to provide quality floorcoverings for any possible environment.

It benefits from Forbo’s groundbreaking Topshield™ surface finish, which helps improve appearance retention and ease of maintenance – dirt and dust cannot penetrate the smooth surface.

Derek Byrne, Forbo’s Managing Director, says:

“Our new Artoleum® Collection successfully combines outstanding durability with strong design. It is a multi-functional floorcovering suitable for all environments. Artoleum® has the potential to turn cold-feeling offices into inspirational environments, to transform commercial outlets into warm and inviting visual spaces, and to add a homely feel to schools and public buildings. It is also ideal for living spaces.”

The new Artoleum® collection continues Forbo’s tradition of impressive design and performance attributes and can be effortlessly combined with Forbo’s ever-popular Marmoleum® collection.
