It has also been equipped with high-performance faucets and low-flow plumbing fixtures which cut down indoor water consumption by 30%. Use of native vegetation in landscaping reduces irrigation water requirement by almost 70%.
The plant, constructed on a brownfield site, incorporates a recycling programme to phase out waster paper, plastics, cardboard as well as packaging. Diverting almost 80% of construction debris adds to its sustainability. The facility also comprises preferred parking spaces for fuel-efficient vehicles to boost the green initiative.
