As part of the four-month renovation project, its 298 rooms, meeting space and dining outlets will undergo refurbishment. The four-month project focuses on creating a more residential feel within the guest rooms of DFW’s premier airport hotel. The property, which currently has a Green Key rating of 4 Keys, is also concentrating on energy management and integrated guest room automation.

New guestroom features at the Fort Worth Texas area hotel will offer a residential touch to its interiors such as granite, wood and leather. Minimalist bedding will be seen at the rooms that will eliminate the use of decorative pillows and bedspreads. The hotel’s public spaces and meeting areas will feature designer pieces of art by Dallas-based photo artist Richard Bettinger.

Eco-friendly and energy saving features will include recycling sorting bins, window shade system that will automatically open and close, in-room lighting featuring a combination of LED and compact fluorescent bulbsbed-side touchscreen panels that control A/C, lighting and window shades.

New meeting space features at the DFW Airport hotel will include a new colour scheme, modern furnishings and an additional 10-person boardroom. New dining outlets such as Moka and M Lounge will be added to the hotel.
