The move will see Tesco build a store at the club’s existing Plaskynaston Lane site with the Welsh Premier team receiving a UEFA (Union of Europian Football Associations) Category one compliant-stadium in return, which can seat 3,000 people.
The plans for the new stadium include a 500-seat covered stand, a larger clubhouse, new dressing rooms, a media room and a medical and drug-testing room, as well as a club shop, a television gantry and a sponsors’ suite.
Work is scheduled to begin in May, 2009 and is expected to complete by December, 2009.
