The new bed Luxuria features an entirely new design for Hastens. The bed is designed to conform to the shape of the body from head to toe along with providing support. The base of the bed features Hastens’ patented spring system, followed by two layers of padding of hand-placed genuine horsehair and four layers of 100% natural cotton and wool.

Hastens has updated its Excelsior bed by adding two additional layers of cotton, wool and genuine horsehair. It has replaced the need for the layer of flax, which increases pliability. The Excelsior II is designed to offer increased support to the entire body.

Hastens 2000T II, one of Hastens’ most exclusive beds, features a new system of layering, allowing for ultimate flexibility. The original 2000T was Hastens’ first three part bed, with a bottom section containing its signature Bonelle spring system. Bonelle spring system is a second, thick spring mattress. The top mattress is added for more softness.

Luxuria comes with a price tag of $8,450; Excelsior II costs $13,650; and 2000T II costs $23,250.

Founded in 1852, Hastens mainly manufactured saddles and carriage furniture. Hastens makes each bed by hand, and is considered as the only bed manufacturer to have all their beds awarded the Swedish Svan environmental certification.
