The product, co-partnered by Heinz, has been created to allow workers to create a warm snack or hot drink without consuming excess power.
Beanzawave measures 7.4 inches tall by 6.2 inches wide and 5.9 inches deep, and need not even be plugged into an electrical outlet. Beanzawave office oven can be powered via a link to the USB port on a laptop computer.
The mini microwave is being developed as a partner to Heinz Snap Pots, baked beans in single-serving containers. The Snap Pots, available in the US, fit perfectly into the Beanzawave.
Gordon Andrews, the managing director of GAMA Microwave Technology said that there’s an option of powering the oven with lithium ion batteries making it extensively portable, which can be of use to fishermen, campers or sportsmen.
Currently Beanzawave is a prototype product, not yet available for retail.
