The store in the Regent Street was under refurbishment throughout August 2009, and along with the new store, the brand has launched more contemporary line as well. The shop is designed to house the new collection of Hobbs, UK-based high street retailer.
The new look of the store flaunts boutique-inspired design with a modern equestrian twist. Hobbs’ rich brand heritage, quirky design detail and Englishness is lavishly displayed in the store fittings and details.
Stable doors are featured, which function as dividers separating collection stories. The clothing rails are made of reclaimed museum doors, marble finishes have been sourced from traditional country houses, and decorative hanging lanterns are sourced from stables.
Established 25 years ago, Hobbs has grown from 30 branches in 2002 to over 100 branches in the UK and Ireland.
Regent Street is one of the major shopping streets in London’s West End, well known to tourists and Londoners alike, and famous for its Christmas illuminations. Every building in Regent Street is protected as a listed building, at least Grade II status, and together they form the Regent Street Conservation Area.
