The new 158-room room hotel is the latest hotel to open under the new Holiday Inn brand and will have the biggest re-launch in the hospitality industry. The re-launch is on track for completion at the end of 2010. The facility is managed by ISO Leisure and is situated near to the OR Tambo International Airport and the Sandton business district.
Holiday Inn Rosebank would feature upgraded facilities such as a business center, fitness center, outdoor pool, cocktail bar and restaurant. The re-launched hotel would include amenities such as upgraded and de-cluttered lobby areas, new beddings, showers and bathroom amenities. The facility features new exterior lighting and landscaping and a new signage with a redesigned logo.
Holiday Inn employees have also been trained for an extensive ‘Stay Real’ training program to benefit the guests from their services.
The Holiday Inn brand was founded by Kemmons Wilson in 1952 with the first hotel opening in Memphis, Tennessee. Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express are located in 100 countries worldwide. Holiday Inn has been named as the official hotel services provider to the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympics Games. As a sponsor, Holiday Inn will provide expertise in accommodation and services before and during the Games.
