The new headquarters, located on a 54-acre area of land, comprises three buildings which house offices, a parts warehouse and a technical centre. The building has bagged LEED Gold certification owing to its several green elements. The facility is oriented towards the north-south direction, imbibes an open-plan concept and features large windows which offer optimum natural light penetration inside thereby reducing energy usage.

The facility is equipped with white roofs to repel heat while its heating and cooling vents are fitted in the floors to reduce energy consumption. Installation of motion-sensor-controlled lighting systems further cut down energy usage while low-flow water fixtures slash water wastage. Use of eco-friendly cleaning products, a high-performance storm water management system, and reclaiming over 75% of construction debris add to the building’s sustainability.

In addition, a large portion of the site is occupied by plants of different species. The parking lot contains spots for 30 bicycles and showers to boost the green initiative. The facility has reaped water and energy savings of 44% and 32% respectively following the implementation of the sustainable measures.
