The project has overhauled the facility’s lobby, guest rooms and on-site services. Welcoming pedestals have taken the place of the traditional front desk in the revamped lobby area to boost staff and guest interaction and pace up the check-in process.
The lobby has now also been equipped with the new GoBoard technology. The technology comprises a large touchscreen TV which offers information on varied topics like sports scores, business news, direction of local landmarks, and flight status updates. The lobby further houses an expanded business library sporting personal computers, and a kiosk which can be used by the guests to print boarding passes. The entire lobby now offers wireless internet access.
Another new feature of the remodelled property is the Bistro-Eat. Drink. Connect dining space. The hotel’s fitness centre and outdoor areas too, have undergone an overhaul. The guestrooms of the hotel have already completed upgrades in December 2011 and have now been equipped with new mattresses, sofas, and desk chairs.
