The INR34 million ($52.2 million approx) hotel is designed to appear like a trapezium washed in colors in one angle and appears like a yacht from a different angle. The hotel’s overall design and façade is inspired by the jewels of Hyderabad.

This new nine-story, 270-room flagship hotel is a LEED-Gold certified green hotel by the US Green Building Council (USGBC). The building includes guest rooms and suites, restaurants, lounges, and entertainment venues.

The hotel is distinct with unique exterior metal screen cladding. The all-glass façade is covered by 6,200 panels of composite aluminum. This adds to the ‘green’ credentials of the hotel as the glass allows the entry of light into the interiors with aluminum diverting the heat off the building. Interior surface finishes including mosaics, reflect local traditions of craftsmanship, patterning, and style. The lift at the hotel automatically uses lower energy when fewer people use and ramps up the power when more people are inside the lift.

The hotel is integrated with cultural features that define the city. The hotel is adorned with Kalamkari artifacts and motifs. The rooms feature a canvas with tholubommalata motif, and one of the lounges in the lobby has a ceiling covered with Kalamkari work. The third floor features a swimming pool that appears to blend with the Hussainsagar Lake of the area.
