The seven-storey new-build Holiday Inn Hotel Guayaquil Airport is situated adjacent to the José Joaquín de Olmedo International Airport, and is also in proximity to the city’s convention centre and main business area.
The 122-room hotel will be designed to represent Holiday Inn brand family’s $1 billion global brand relaunch, the largest project of its kind in hospitality sector.
The contemporary hotel features modern guestrooms, an outdoor swimming pool, business centre, fitness centre overlooking the airport and city, a lobby bar, and eight meeting rooms to accommodate over 200 people.
Exuding a residential feel, all the guestrooms feature white bedding with pillows that come in two comfort levels like soft and firm; ergonomic workstations; and data ports.
Additionally, each room will have standard Holiday Inn guestroom accommodations like double, queen or king-sized beds, a sitting area with a lounge chair, hairdryer, micro fridge, coffee maker, iron, and ironing board.
Guest baths will feature a multi-functional showerhead, a shower curtain with curved rod, and other amenities.
The Executive Floor, featured on the top floor, is equipped with an exclusive front desk, lounge and a VIP meeting room.
The hotel’s ConneXion Bistro-Bar offers a range of regional dishes from the coast of Ecuador as well as select international options.
Additional amenities of the hotel include complimentary high-speed Internet, cable TV, safe deposit facilities, mini bar, and free airport shuttle service.
The opening of the Holiday Inn Guayaquil Airport hotel is in-line with IHG’s expansion strategy in all key markets across the region.
