The $4 million Indianapolis Colts Sports Grille will be located on the ground floor of the Claypool Courts/Embassy Suites complex in Downtown. Spanning 10,000 square feet, the restaurant will be housed in a former off-track betting parlor space.
The restaurant will feature a private dining room called the ‘owner’s box’ for Colts players and employees’ use which can also be used for TV and radio broadcasts; a mobile of a Colts horseshoe logo hanging in the atrium entrance; 60 high-definition TVs; and one-way mirrored walls in the men’s restroom that also offers view of dining room TVs.
The restaurant will serve lunch and dinner with a full menu of food and drinks. Florida-based G.R.E.A.T. Grille Group of Fort Lauderdale will develop and operate the restaurant. The Colts restaurant is slated to open in August 2011.
The second NFL restaurant will be the Houston Texans Sports Grille, opening in November 2011. Several others are planned in 2012 and 2013.
