The main objective behind the new boat is to offer an alternative to the several open crafts currently available in the market. Though the open boat concept is generally conceived to enjoy the outdoor areas; but in the recent times a trend has been observed wherein the design is tending towards a progressive limitation of the open spaces, in contrast to its original intention.

In the new Italcraft 90 sport yacht, prime design improtance was given to maximize the expansion of the craft’s three open areas. The three areas are astern, bow and the upper part of the superstructure. The astern features a spacious cockpit furnished with three large sofa-chaise lounges. A living room is featured at bow complete with an ample ‘C’- shaped sofa and double sundeck. The upper part of the superstructure is equipped with an exclusive sunbathing area. Each of these areas is designed to be autonomous and independent areas, ensuring privacy for the guests on board.

The volumes are highlighted by transparencies created by a glass veranda. The dining area at the center of this windowed-structure may be opened completely towards the back and sides for a total plain-air setting. A circular window on the ceiling of the stern living-room is designed to allow natural lighting from above. Double sliding doors at bow allow air and light to come into the living area.

Two symmetrical staircases rise from the bridge below deck. The staircase leads to the four cabins, each with private bathrooms while, on the right side, they give access to the large kitchen and its connecting crew area. The crew area features two double cabins and a private bathroom.
