Although the project is still not finished, the ski-jump has been certified as safe for use. The jump was also used at an opening ceremony and at the Ski Federation World Cup Nordic.

A bar and viewing platform will be added later this year. The project is expected to be fully completed in 2011.

The bar is 418 meters above sea level. At the top of the 69 meter inclined-cantilever tower, a 110 square metre plateau provides view of the city of Oslo and its fjords.

The International Ski Federation (FIS) World Cup Nordic which took place on March 13 and 14, 2010, at Holmenkollen, was witnessed by 30,000 people. The ski-jump is expected to undergo a trial before the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships begin in Oslo from February 24, 2011 to March 6, 2011.
