The new Kebony Boat House has been designed to capture the charm of the traditional coastal Norwegian boat houses. The scheme has been developed using Kebony, an alternative to tropical hardwood and toxic-treated wood.
Kebony Boat House has a stunning architecture and can be used as an intimate venue for concerts, theatrical performances and popular music series by national broadcaster NRK. TreStykker 2012 has used Kebony Southern Yellow Pine for cladding and decking purposes. The boat house will acquire a beautiful silver-grey patina with the passage of time.
Kebony is noted for its sustainability, and eco-friendly and non-toxic character. It is also easy to maintain, resistant to decay and offer great aesthetic to any space.
