The brief given to KI was to create a call centre and order process environment to support the distribution of contact lenses and associated eye products.

The challenge was to provide a modern environment whilst meeting the acoustic challenges of a dense space planning footprint.

KI provided Unite SE system benches with silver frames and Beech tops with the Unite Workstations providing flexible working and a range of options tailored to meet the modern day workplace requirements at Johnson & Johnson.

Available in a variety of heights and colours, the Unite SE storage collection is comprised of drawer units, cupboards, sliding door units, recycling units, lockers, drawer/cupboard locker combinations, pedestals, pass-through top boxes, towers and SpaceStation mobile personal storage.

Taller screens with partial glazing were provided to meet a particular requirement for privacy and light along with acoustic benefits.

Faveo, a 24/7 task and occasional seating range, has also been used alongside the Unite Collection which features soft curves and mesh back to provide optimum ergonomic support.

Designed by Paul Brooks and recipient of a Red Dot Award, Faveo has a synchromatic integrated mechanism which provides a wide range recline with free flow and four position locking.

Instant ergonomic adjustment is delivered to the user through simple touch controls with seat height and tension adjustment integrated on one side, and the forward tilt and recline lock on the other.

Standard options for KI’s seating range include transparent and sculptured mesh back rests in a wide choice of finishes, adjustable sliding seat, 2d, 4d and multi functional adjustable arms, adjustable and pivoting lumbar support, headrest and a choice of base finishes and upholstery materials.
