The new building is expected to be the cornerstone of the city’s new International Financial Centre, a key to Turkey’s stated goal of expanding its economy. The two-tower, 200,000 sq m HQ will enable Ziraat Bank to continue its mission through what KPS says will be ‘an iconic and sustainable facility whose architectural language will draw on the prolific cultural heritage of one of the world’s oldest and most diverse cities’.
