Located at 8398 Vineland Avenue in the Lake Buena Vista area of Orlando, this is the first LongHorn Steakhouse, and one of 10 Darden restaurants overall, designed to seek Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification from the US Green Building Council.
Targeting LEED Silver certification, the restaurant spans 6,400 square feet and will seat 240 guests. The restaurant has employed a host of green elements to make the facility sustainable.
Recycled building materials have been used in the construction along with energy-efficient equipment and fixtures on site. Additionally, the Lake Buena Vista LongHorn Steakhouse also makes use of natural light as an energy saving measure.
LongHorn Steakhouse operates more than 340 restaurants in 33 US states. LongHorn is a division of Darden Restaurants, Inc.
