With this new extension, the Majestic Barrière now features 44 new suites and two penthouses which are located next to the water’s edge. The new extension involves an addition of 10,000 square meters of area, with the new suites and penthouses added to the 305 existing rooms and suites of the hotel which were revamped completely two years ago.
The Christian Dior Suite and Majestic Suite, the two penthouse suites, located on the 6th and 7th floors offer 450 square meters each and they can also be connected to form a single apartment of 900 square meters.
The Majestic Suite also has a solarium 150 square meter terrace, which has 11 meters long swimming pool. The suite is decorated by the interior designer Pascal Desprez and it features brown wood in the backdrop of light colors. The Christian Dior Suite is designed in the style of 30 Avenue Montaigne.
The hotel now features a boardroom of 350 square meters and two new salons along with a 220 square meters new foyer to accommodate breakfasts and cocktail buffets.
Two new restaurants along with a new spa are due to open on April 1, 2010.
