The virtual hotel tour tool, developed to assist travelers in making their hotel selections online, is a streaming video of all touch-points of the hotel for visitors – reception, coffee shop, rooms, washrooms and hotel surroundings.
Developed in response to user feedback, the tool will help users to make an informed decision while booking a reservation for Indian hotels online.
Currently available for 85 hotels in India covering a total of 30 cities, MakeMyTrip plans to expand this portfolio to offer more than 500 virtual tours by the end of 2009.
