The revamped facility features the Club Car restaurant along with a new upper level to house offices. Bulk of the design features of the original building have been preserved after the renovation process.
The old ticket booth now forms a portion of the bar. The historic palladium windows sporting period coloured glass have undergone restoration work whereas oak doors have substituted the vintage doors. The old doors now serve as walls inside the restaurant. The grand fireplace has also been restored to a working fireplace.
The restaurant’s ceiling has been lowered to create space for the offices above. An old storage space has been remodelled into the main dining room of the restaurant.
The revamped property also imbibes various green features. It includes recycling the tongue and groove wood from the ceiling of the train station into wainscoting on the second level of the new structure. The ceiling beams function as sound articulation over the conference room and offices following the makeover. Incorporation of radiant heat flooring, and new storm water systems to capture runoff add to the sustainability factor.
