The award ceremony was held during FIRA’s annual event at the House of Lords on 21 October 2011. The piece, equipped with doors, is made of solid American oak and oak veneer. It encompasses all solid oak traits including knots, figuring, variation in tone as well as end-grain detailing. Presence of dovetail joints along with a protective low-sheen lacquer finish contribute to the wardrobe’s durability.
An unique feature of the product is its hinge detail on the side which remains concealed. This allows the wardrobe to be folded into a complete flat shape. The smooth folding mechanism, in turn, makes room for easy and rapid assembling and dismantling while facilitating storage and shifting of the item.
