Methodist intends to build a 100 bed facility with a total investment of $137 million. The new facility will be located at the southeast corner of Bethel Road and US Highway 78. The healthcare provider anticipates building the facility to comply with LEED certification standards.
The hospital has appointed Gresham, Smith and Partners (GS&P) to design the project, Smith Seckman Reid (SSR) to provide engineering design and Turner Construction Company to provide construction management and serve as general contractor for the project. The three firms together will form the Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) team for the project. These companies will design the new facility and carry out the construction work.
Plans call for construction of an efficient facility that will allow future development.
