The renovation, which had begun in the middle of 2009, was to be completed by November 2009; the ICU has been relocated within the hospital since then.
The Intensive Care unit of the hospital is receiving the finishing touches and the reason for the delay was stated due to the complexity of the ICU at the hospital. The delays were also a result of the existing infrastructure and due to non availability of the required materials. The hospital’s renovations though behind schedule are only slightly over their $2 million budget, although final numbers haven’t been calculated just yet.
