The three-story, 60,000 square foot complex houses the Tribal Council, government and administrative offices of the Morongo Band of Mission Indians as well as the 10,000 square foot, 250-seat council chamber.

The Morongo Indian Reservation was established in 1877 and covers more than 32,000 acres with a resident population of around 950.
