The 175.5 square meters store, located at Irene Mall in Irene, is one of the first MTN stores to incorporate new interactive retail design, inviting consumers to experience mobile voice, data, music and video in a full-service environment.
The store also features over 133 square meters of retail, technical support and customer service space. Interactive product and service demos are available throughout the store. Integrated systems and operational enhancements have also been installed in the store to streamline the sales and service process and increase customer satisfaction.
The new stores form part of the firm’s strategy to expand its brand footprint and provide customers with a seamless, consistent level of service.
Pieter Verkade, chief marketing officer at MTN, says that in their endeavors to become more attuned to customers’ needs, they are working to transform the cell phone service and buying experience at the retail level by improving MTN’s innovation and value proposition.
