The project includes the construction of a new public transport hub consisting of a metro station and a bus terminal, which will be integrated into the shopping centre.

Matinkylä Metro Center project will comprise of approximately 25,000 square meters of leasable retail space, approximately about 600 parking spaces for visitors, and a bus terminal and metro station. It will constitute an integrated part of the existing Iso-Omena shopping centre.

To be carried out in a joint venture between NCC and Citycon, the shopping centre will be completed in the summer of 2016. Constituting the main transport hub in the western part of the capital area, the new metro station and the bus terminal will be ready by 2015.
