This new water heating appliance is like a heat pump which is mounted on a water storage tank and can heat water up to a temperature of 55°C. The Gorenje pump prevents bacterial growth due to its thermal disinfection system. The disinfector works at regular intervals, heating up the system to an extra temperature of 65°C. The heater is available in 200, 300, 400 and 500 liter sizes
The same pump may also be used for cooling smaller rooms. Even though the initial cost of the heat pump may be a little over budget, it would surly pay off in a few years, proving to be cheaper than heaters that are fueled by gas or oil. The heater is also available in one or two tubular heat exchangers with a combination of other energy sources, like central heating system and solar energy. The heater comes equipped with water temperature control, heat insulation that prevents heat loss and temperature display.
It is one of the most cost efficient way of heating water as the heat is drawn from ambient air and with a little extra energy the water can be heated to an optimum temperature.
