The space at Lincoln Square has been renovated to include a studio, dressing rooms and a bathroom. Amara aims to be a platform to showcase work by local artists, offer art workshops and art therapy for kids and adults, as well as to conduct Yoga classes.
The place will be run by Theresa Brandabur, yoga studio director, and Kathryn Fitzgerald, an art director, who formerly ran an art gallery in Fitzgerald, Georgia.
The 7th Annual Boneyard Arts Festival presented by 40 North | 88 West – Champaign County’s Arts, Culture and Entertainment Council, is an annual four-day event that showcases the broad range of creative activity flourishing in the community, promoting art.
