The classrooms are equipped with innovative smart lighting with natural daylight harvesting, energy-efficient mechanical and electrical systems, and solar panels. All these factors ensure that each classroom is grid-neutral – producing at least as much electricity as it uses. Classroom’s walls and roof are integrated with recycled denim. This unique features helps in both sound insulation and minimization of heat/cooling loss.
The Gen7 classroom environment features Zero-VOC concrete floor system with high recycled content. Ultra-quiet Thermal Displacement Ventilation (TDV) system with carbon dioxide monitoring and natural ventilation provides 35% energy savings. Acoustically designed systems help in absorbing echo, thereby reducing strain on teacher’s voice, and improves student comprehension.
