The Departures Lounge 3 is currently undergoing major renovation and redesign project. The renovation will give Kappe more space for the new stand-alone store in a far more visible location. Currently it shares its Lounge 3 space in a tax free megastore with Schiphol Airport Retail.
Kappe has plans to remodel its drugstore unit at Lounge 3 along with redesigning its sunglasses store.
Kappe has already captured a five-year extension to its beauty, drugstore and sunglasses concessions at the location. The new five-year concession agreement coincides with the company’s 60th anniversary.
Amsterdam Airport Schiphol ranks as the world’s third largest by international passenger traffic as well as Europe’s fifth and the world’s 14th busiest by overall passenger volume.
