The new dormitory will house 22,000 square feet of living space in a two-storey, wood-frame building. It will feature a partial basement and unoccupied attic. The project includes construction of a 30-bed dorm and faculty residences. The faculty will be housed in three, three-bedroom houses.

The facility will house bedroom and faculty apartments. Additional amenities include two student study rooms, a student laundry room, a student common room and student and faculty storage rooms. Work also includes an exterior covered bicycle storage area.

Erland Construction, based in Massachusetts, will be the general contractor for the project. Work is scheduled to begin immediately with completion scheduled before August 2012.
