Designed by Pelli Clarke Pelli, Aria is a 4,004 room resort destination that is at the core of the 18 million square feet CityCenter development. Housing 568 suites, Aria features 150,000 square feet of gaming, 300,000 square feet of meeting and pre-function space, three primary pools with 50 cabanas, and one European-style pool.

Guests have a choice of eatieries, including 16 restaurants and 10 bars and lounges, including a nightclub, a 80,000 square feet, two-level spa and salon with 62 individual spa treatment rooms, 55 salon stations, full-service salon, barbershop, deluxe fitness room, group exercise studio, meditation and relaxation rooms, separate men’s and women’s spa with eucalyptus steam rooms and red wood saunas, and a 1,800-seat theater.

Vdara, designed by RV Architecture, LLC, led by Rafael Vinoly, is an internationally inspired all-suite hotel and spa. This 57-story tower will host approximately 1,495 professionally designed turnkey condo hotel rooms and suites. The residences feature open floor plans and horizontally oriented windows that offer expansive views of the city and the mountains. Vdara features a pool with cabanas for added privacy, a fitness center, 24-hour concierge services, conference and meeting facilities, in-room dining, housekeeping and valet parking.

Aria and Vdara will open in December 2009 on the Las Vegas Strip and are the first of CityCenter’s developments to be LEED certified. CityCenter anticipates Gold or Silver LEED certification for its remaining developments, which include Las Vegas’ first Mandarin Oriental, Crystals – 500,000 square feet retail and entertainment district, Veer Towers – the community’s only strictly residential buildings, and the Harmon – a 400 room luxury boutique hotel.
